Committee

	Alana Tomlin is the President of Writers Bloc and is currently studying English with Creative Writing. Last year, she founded the Writers Bloc publication, The Journal. She predominantly writes poetry and her work has recently appeared in the Nine Arches Press magazine Under the Radar.
	Amie Pryal is the Secretary of the society and has been a member since her first year. She is in the final year of her degree and regularly contributes to the society’s publication and open mic events.
	Jessica Hanson is the Social Secretary who organises all of our society socials and nights out. She is a final year English with Creative Writing student.
	Charlie Dart is the Treasurer and odd-job-man for Writers Bloc. He is currently writing a novel, regularly contributes to poetry nights, and has a side-line in Tom Baker impersonation.
	Ben Norris is the Literary Events Officer, in charge of organising Grizzly Pear (our termly spoken word and open mic night at the Bristol Pear), readings, and poetry slams against other universities. He is a second year English with Creative Writing student with particular interest in playwriting, performance poetry, and acting, and has competed in numerous poetry slams.
	Andy Cashmore is the Publications Officer and a second year English with Creative Writing student. He has had flash fiction and single line stories published. He is the mastermind behind the creation of our society publication, The Journal.
	Kim Staples is the Online Communications Officer, in charge of maintaining the blog, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. She is a final year English with Creative Writing student, has had various short stories and poems published, and spends far too much time online.
